Rock Soapwort

Vigorous clump-forming or trailing plants with abundant delicate flowers, prefers well-drained soil in a full sun location, excellent for rock gardens, banks or trailing over walls, the Latin word Sapo, meaning soap, is the basis for Saponaria, the roots of the plant contain sap that, when mixed with water, creates a lather. Companion Plants: Dianthus, Heuchera, Iberis, Euphorbia.
