Heucherella (hew'-ker-ell-a)

Foamy Bells

Fuzzy flower clusters in shades of pink, rose or white top slender wand like stems. Leaves are scalloped or lobed, often marked with deep burgundy splashes and form low mounds or spreading mats. Excellent ground cover or edging. Companion Plants: Hosta, Arctostaphylos, Digitalis, Papaver, Trollius.

'Alabama Sunrise'

Maple shaped 12" tall leaves highlighted by dramatic red central veins. Small white flowers emerge in early June. Greens up a bit in the summer.

Maple like leaves are silvery with dark purple veins, spikes of white flowers, may rebloom, blooms late spring - mid summer, grows 20".

'Dayglow Pink'

A cross between Heuchera and Tiarella, this exciting breakthrough in breeding is a great addition to the garden lineup. It is a hybrid between Coral Bells and Foam Flower, combining the best traits of both into one plant. This recent selection forms a low mound of lobed leaves, mint green in color, with dark purple veining. Sprays of brilliant pink flowers appear in late spring and last several weeks. Blooms mid spring to early fall, grows 16".
